When we first get together to talk sports, we look at all aspects of your health and lifestyle, including work or school commitments as well as your training and the season ahead. We look at frequency, intensity, quality of training and what else you do, so we spend a little more time together.
We talk long term strategies to maximise performance and discuss whether a meal plan is right for you. A detailed meal plan is prepared outside of consult and included in the price.
The meal plan will be ready for you a week later, you will require a second appointment where your dietitian will go through the plan in detail and provide education on the fuelling strategies applied. This second appointment is also included in this package.

Follow up Consult
We know where we are going, but getting there is tough going. This is when we review how the journey is going, what has worked and what hasn't been very helpful.
We look at new strategies that get us closer to the goal. Support and accountability are key to success, regular reviews at the start of your journey ensure you stay on track and achieve your goals.
We recommend this for the first couple of reviews or if we haven't seen each other for a little while (less than a year).
This is required for gut health, eating problems and eating disorder for the first 3-6 appointments and may be recommended ongoing based on individual needs.

Things are getting easier, we are establishing some solid new habits and just need to regroup and refine.
Ongoing support helps keep focus and refining our behaviours to ensure we reach the goal and have built new habits that will last a lifetime.
We recommend this on going catch ups, once the foundations are solid.

Race day plan

Race day is not like any other day, we understand that and understand that your needs will change as your training progresses, and so will your race day needs.
We talk through previous race experiences, strategies that worked and those that didn't to pin point exactly what is going to work best for you.
The race day plan is designed outside of session.

By mapping and measuring 7 skinfolds sites, your anthropometrist will be able to assess the efficacy of your training and nutrition plans over time.
