1/2 cup plain flour
1/2 cup self raising flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
3/4 cup cocoa or cacao powder
1 1/4 cup caster sugar
2 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp canola oil
200g low fat Greek yoghurt
140g apple sauce
10 Medjool dates, chopped
Preheat oven to 180C, grease and line 2L rectangular shallow baking tin.
Stir sifted flour, bicarbonate of soda and cacao or cocoa powder into a large bowl.
Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla essence, oil, yoghurt, chopped dates and apple puree in another bowel.
Add wet to dry ingredients and mix well. Spread into baking tin and bake for approximately 30-40 minutes, until skewer comes out clean.
